About Megan

A life full of magic...
Megan fell in love with magic aged five when she was given her first magic set and has been performing magic ever since.
She loves entertaining people, watching their faces light up in awe and wonder and hearing gasps of astonishment as she performs her spellbinding routines. She learned much of her craft at the Young Magician's Club , a youth initiative of The Magic Circle. Being taught by some of the world's best magicians from such an early age gave Megan a really strong foundation in both technical and presentation skills, and she has since continued her training with professional magicians from around the world.
Megan also grew up appreciating the magic of nature, being encouraged to spend time outdoors as a child. This led her to study Wildlife Conservation at the University of Kent, where she discovered just how important environmental education is, and crucially, how entertainment can be used to help share important messages.
High standards...
In 2021, Megan became the first woman and youngest ever person to be elected as President of The Magic Circle , the world's most prestigious magic society. Megan has been a very proud member since the age of 18, and previously served as the Honorary Secretary and Vice-President. At the end of her Presidency, Megan was awarded The Silver Wand for her outstanding service to society.
Megan has won several awards for her performances. In September 2018, she won the International Brotherhood of Magicians’ British Ring Stage competition, and a special award for originality, recognising the creativity she shows in her magic. Her performances include:
- Radio and TV appearances including BBC, ITV, Channel 5
- The QI Christmas Special 2022
- Performances in major theatres, to royalty and internationally
In 2023, UCL's Performing Planet Activism project awarded her funding to collaborate with Professor Ilan Kelman, and together they developed a new show focussed on "Hope for the Future of our Planet". It's debut performance was UCL’s Grant Museum of Zoology, enrapturing the audience as well as the museum’s specimens—jarred, stuffed, and skeletal!
A unique approach...
All of Megan's performances combine her unusual combination of knowledge, experience and passion, making each shows as unique as she is.
She also works hard to ensure her shows follow her eco-friendly principles - keeping waste to a minimum, reusing old props, and sourcing sustainable materials. She enjoys making items for her shows whenever possible, or supporting independent sellers to make them for her, and will travel to most events on public transport.
